In the following, we explain what information Deutsche Post collects when you visit our website and how this information is usd.
Personal data
Personal data is specific information about personal or factual characteristics relating to a certain natural person or a natural person who can be specified. Collection and processing of personal data
When you visit our web pages, our web servers always temporarily save for security and statistical purposes the connection data of the computer connecting to our site, a list of the web pages that you visit within our site, the date and duration of your visit, the identification data of the type of browser and operation system used as well as the website through which you linked to our site. We do not save your IP address any longer than you are using our website. Additional personal information such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address is not collected unless you provide this data voluntarily, e.g. as part of the registration for our logistics newsletter or DHL Fast Forward, our Discover Logistics business simulation.
Utilisation and passing on of personal data
Deutsche Post does not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disseminate (and shall take reasonable steps to protect the confidentiality and security, and to prevent the unauthorized or accidental disclosure of) your personal data to third parties (i.e., persons or entities that are not affiliates of Deutsche Post), unless this is required for the purpose of the contract or unless you have given express consent to do so. For instance, it may be necessary to pass on your address to our contractors to send you a prize. Deutsche Post may disclose your personal data if, in connection with submitting the information, you consent to such disclosure; and the committee may disclose contact information for you in response to inquiries by bona-fide rights owners in connection with allegations of infringement of copyright or other proprietary rights arising from information you have posted on the Discover Logistics website or otherwise provided to Deutsche Post. We use your personal data to fulfill your requests for information, to evaluate any employment-related inquiries that you may submit, or for such other business purposes as you may initiate or request. We may keep any of your personal data on file and use it to contact you for recruiting purposes. We also use personal data to perform statistical analyses of user behavior in order to measure interest in specific areas and information posted on our website. We use personal data collected from cookies and IP addresses as described below. We may provide your personal data to any of Deutsche Post?s affiliates worldwide for such purposes.

Use of cookies
