Zoning

In zoning, items that are frequently stored and retrieved are positioned near the receiving/shipping point. The objective of zoning is to efficiently assign storage places. For this purpose, product groups are separated according to factors that include picking frequency, and specific locations are deter-mined for individual product groups.
